What a week! If I was writing a script for a topical comedy show, these past few days would have been some of the easiest ever. The new man at the top, Donald Trump, continues to provide an insight into what a weird few years the world has in store.
This has all been building up for the past few months, but the spark was seemingly Trump’s travel ban. An increasing number of Silicon Valley firms are hitting out at the ban as large parts of their workforce are hit by the restrictions and chaos continues for so many citizens and travellers. As I’m writing this, BBC news has just flashed up saying that one million people have signed a UK petition to prevent Donald Trump’s first state visit across the Atlantic. The UK is looking more and more towards America for post-Brexit confidence so whether you like it or not, getting onto good terms with the new President is essential.
Anyway, for BFS it’s the end of an insightful month. We’ve got another couple of days journeying around the country, aiming to finalise the paperwork on a few deals as we seemingly continue to cover every inch of the UK. It’s hard graft at times, but when everything is signed and people at both ends are happy, it makes it all a lot easier next time!
January was kind us on the whole. There were many new faces getting in touch with us with a bunch of exciting new assets to finance and even some new vehicles like CLR Prestiges great modern take on the iconic VW camper which are definitely worth a look at! (Photos on the website!).
